Alex Ross Marvel Shadows Posters
July 16th, 2017Last year, superstar artist Alex Ross released a limited edition series of posters called Shadows, which featured Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman and Aquaman painted in a shadowed view. Leading up to his appearace at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Ross recently unveiled that he made more Shadows posters.
This time he painted Marvel characters, including Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain America. As Ross explains in the video above, for this batch he wanted to stay true to the comic book versions of the characters, while still giving them the realistic treatment that has become his trademark. The posters will also be available on his online store. The first edition posters are priced at $825 (USD) each, so yeah, prepare your wallet.
