A HIstory of Vulture

With the Vulture finally making his way into Marvel’s Cinematic Universe thanks to the excellent Spider-Man: Homecoming, Variant Comics thought it would be fit to give us a brief history of one of Spider-Man’s earliest enemies. Michael Keaton’s character in the movie shares his name and smarts with the original Vulture, Adrian Toomes. But without giving too much away, the movie Vulture is a lot different from his comic book counterpart.

Despite his age and outdated costume, the original Vulture was one ruthless and powerful baddie. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, I’m happy to say that Keaton and Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s army of writers gave the character a worthy incarnation.
