The Batmobile Almost Had a Cameo in Cars 3

There are a lot of cameos in Pixar’s Cars Universe, but did you know that the Batmobile was almost in Cars 3? In a recent interview with Screen Junkies, director Brian Fee said that in an early draft of the film, Lightning McQueen almost ended up going to a Hollywood party that would have been full of movie stars, including two different generations of Batmobiles. Sadly, that scene didn’t make the cut. Too bad. Every movie should have a cameo by the Batmobile.

“At one point, part of the story took place in LA and we had a scene where McQueen went to a Hollywood hills party and it was full of actors, and we had the old Batmobile and the new Batmobile talking to each other at a party.”

In fact, they should make a cars movie that just focuses on superhero cars. You’re welcome Pixar.
