Star Trek: Discovery Gets First Trailer
May 18th, 2017Right after we got the first image from the set of the series, the first trailer for Star Trek: Discovery is here. Yay? I really want to like this trailer, but… Why do we need new Klingons? Klingons that don’t fit the timeline? Why all the lens flares?
Is this in the NuTrek timeline? Yuck. That technology! It does not fit the look or capabilities of being 10 years before TOS. Those uniforms… suck. The acting. God the acting. The acting makes William Shatner look like Sir Laurence Olivier. What in the hell?! I really wanted to like it. After watching this trailer I sat and thought on it for hours.Nope. Not liking it so far. This looks bad. Maybe it’s not, but it sure looks that way. What do you guys think?
