The Empire Strikes Back Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Poster

You could argue that Guardians of the Galaxy is just as awesome as Star Wars in its own way. So naturally the two will be mashed up in all kinds of ways. Back in 2014, artist Matt Ferguson released an awesome poster for the first Guardians of the Galaxy film that was inspired by the original poster for A New Hope. Now that the sequel is almost here, Ferguson has created a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 poster, this time inspired by The Empire Strikes Back.
It definitely works. It’s fun seeing these characters in this familiar setting. Can’t wait to see what he does for the 3rd movie. And let’s just hope there are no Guardians prequels.
