Adam Savage Goes Incognito as Both Chewbacca and C-3PO

Adam Savage is a big fan of cosplay, and he loves to turn up at conventions dressed as creatures so he can wander the aisles incognito. His latest costume? He turned up at this year’s Silicon Valley Comic Con dressed as Chewbacca, complete with C-3PO strapped to his back.

The Chewie costume is impeccable, complete with an awesome bandolier and bowcaster gun, but the real masterpiece is the droid backpack. Not only does 3PO look amazing, his head moves, his eyes light up, and he utters random phrases, like “Hurry, you oversized hobbit!” and “I’ve been abducted against my will!”
