Hot Toys GotG Vol. 2 Star-Lord 1/6 Scale Action Figure

Star-Lord joins Rocket in Hot Toys’ line of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 sixth scale action figures. The 12.2″ action figure comes with a removable chest plate, a Walkman with a cassette tape and a pair of headphones, a pair of blasters, 11 swappable hands, a baby Groot and two heads – one unmasked and one with the mask on.

The action figure’s Deluxe version adds a cool third head that shows the helmet in activating mode, as shown in the trailers. The Deluxe figure also gets a long-sleeved shirt and Star-Lord’s red long coat, which looks way better on him than the leather jacket.

Overall I think it’s a great looking figure, but I’m not a fan of the head sculpt. It looks like a no-fun version of Chris Pratt. The activating helmet is sweet though. You can pre-order it now from BigBadToyStore; the standard version costs $230 (USD) while the Deluxe can be yours for $252.
