Alternate Versions of Wolverine

by Lambert Varias

To commemorate the release of the excellent film Logan – by far the best Marvel movie made so far – VariantComics listed some of Wolverine’s most notable versions. The list includes his Age of Apocalypse version, his children, his zombie and vampire selves, and of course Mark Millar’s best creation, Old Man Logan. They also made a solo video about Logan’s other star X-23.

I know that the VariantComics limited its list to the realm of comics, but I think Logan‘s Wolverine will go down as one of the character’s most memorable incarnations. The same goes with Professor X and X-23. Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen were all brilliant, and writer and director James Mangold did a great job with the film. If the Academy gave Emma Stone an award for her performance in La La Land, then Jackman and Keen more than deserve their own Oscars.
