Listen to This Amazing Doctor Who Orchestral Cover

by Conner Flynn

There have been many versions of the Doctor Who theme song over the years, but this one from Pisces Rising is really something special. It is an epic rendition of the theme song with the Junges Vokalensemble Hannover adding vocals. The lyrics are based on “a mix of Sanskrit, faux Latin and various Doctor Who planets/references.” Here are the full lyrics:

Korah, Sanctus, Rama, Hedor
Corvus, Vidi, Critus, Rahtamah
Korah, Tovus, Skaro, Gallefrey,
Vortis, Yegros, Tus.

Ah ah ahhhh

Rama! Sactus! Toro! Meetha!
Ka, Tu, Masanctus
Ka, Ro, Masanctus
Korani, Tanus, Gallefrey
Tardis To Korah Sa La To Who Sha La Nus!

They could be talking complete nonsense and I would be okay with it, because it sounds fantastic. It certainly sounds like something you would hear during a special episode of the show. They really nailed it. If they ever make a Doctor Who movie, they should use this as the theme.
