Toys Alliance Transformers MAS-01 Optimus Prime Action Figure

3A’s G1 Optimus Prime is my favorite action figure for 2017 so far. But if you’re looking for a more faithful depiction of the Autobot leader, check out Toys Alliance’s MAS-01. The toymaker has been hyping this figure since February last year, and it’s easy to see why. At 18″ tall and wonderfully designed and painted, this collectible is like a 4K version of the original Transformers cartoon.
As with 3A’s version, this action figure doesn’t transform into vehicle mode. But it makes up for it with over 70 points of articulation. It has LEDs on its eyes and on the removable Matrix of Leadership. It also comes with a huge laser rifle. You can pre-order it from BigBadToyStore for $180 (USD). Good thing it’s more than half the cost of 3A’s Optimue Prime, because Toys Alliance is working on a Megatron action figure as well.
