Reality Gets an Upgrade in iBoy Trailer
January 13th, 2017Netflix’s latest superhero project has nothing to do with Marvel or DC. iBoy is Adapted from Kevin Brooks’ 2010 novel of the same name. The film follows a teenager who becomes a vigilante. After a gunshot wound to the head, he ends up with smartphone shards lodged in his brain. Somehow, this gives him a bunch of superhuman abilities. He wants to avenge his love interest and take down the gang members. It looks pretty entertaining.
iBoy will be available on Jan. 27. Looks like another unique Netflix original. It has a touch of The Matrix, maybe a bit of Glitch. You have to admire Netflix for offering all kinds of different content.
