Virtual reality is going to be great for exploring your favorite movie sets. Imagine having free reign on the Starship Enterprise’s bridge, or talking a walk through the Death Star. Or in this case, hanging out in Rick Deckard’s apartment from Blade Runner.

Software engineer Quentin Lengele is close to making this a reality. He recently released new demo footage of Blade Runner 9732, a project that recreates Rick Deckard’s apartment in virtual reality using the Unity engine. It has nearly everything in amazing detail. It is all to-scale as well.

He has to update it for the latest VR headsets, but once he does that and takes care of a few other tweaks, you’ll be able to walk around in the room at your leisure. You can keep up with ongoing developments over on Quentin’s Twitter feed.
