Alternate Versions of Stormtroopers

Variant Comics’ latest video for casual fans enumerates the alternate versions of stormtroopers in the Star Wars canon. Even if you’re not a hardcore fan of the franchise, I’m sure you’ve already noticed that for the most part, the Empire loves simple naming schemes. Stationed in space? Spacetrooper. Uses jump packs? Jumptrooper. I like to imagine that there are keyboardtroopers and fryingpantroopers in that galaxy far, far away. I also wonder why they didn’t just teach stormtroopers to use different equipment instead of having so many specialized – oh. right.
