Disney to Turn Epcot’s Spaceship Earth into the Death Star

Disney is going full Empire to celebrate the release of Rogue One. On Monday, December 5th, the house the mouse built is going to transform Epcot’s Spaceship Earth into the Death Star.

How will they do this? They are going to use digital projections. Because actually building a Death Star would clearly cost too much money. Sadly most of us will never see it since the event was first come first served to Disney Parks Blog readers, and all of the spaces have been filled. Maybe a bunch of X-wings from Universal Studios will arrive and blow the thing sky high.

If you ask me, they really should have a giant Death Star displayed year round.
