Codename: Colossus Mk.1 Cyclops Now on Kickstarter

by Lambert Varias

Michael Sng of Machination Studio is gearing up for mass production of his company’s first collectible, the Mk. 1 Cyclops. He’s set up a Kickstarter fundraiser where you can be rewarded with DIY kits, fully assembled or even personalized figures depending on your pledge. The Mk 1. Cyclops will be considerably smaller than the Codename: Colossus prototype but is no less awesome.

It measures 13″x 12″x 13″ and has LED lights, moving guns and three servos for its legs. As we saw in Tested’s interview with Michael, the figure will have a wired controller, which is a tad disappointing. But its unique aesthetic, details and paint job more than make up for that. Pledges with Mk. 1 Cyclops as a reward start at $274 (USD) for an unpainted DIY kit of the model with no electronics, and go up to $1160 for a fully assembled and custom-finished figure personalized by Michael himself based on your instructions.
