Adam Savage’s Zorg ZF-1 Prop Replica

by Lambert Varias

Voila, the ZF-1. Tested showcases one of Adam Savage’s favorite builds. It took him roughly 17 years (on and off of course, but still) to finish the life-size replica of the all-in-one wonder weapon from The Fifth Element. Like many DIYers, Adam started making the replica without official measurements, instead using the parts that he recognized as starting points for scale. Eventually he got help from one the guys at The RPF who was able to measure one of the movie-used props.

Adam’s replica doesn’t have any firing mechanisms or features, but he says that everything that you see in the movie is represented in it. Congrats dude!
