75 Years, 75 Green Arrows

by Conner Flynn

A long time ago, back in November 1941, the first Green Arrow debuted in More Fun Comics #73 by Mort Weisinger and George Papp. The character has been a hit ever since and he has gone through many incarnations. Well, this year is the 75th anniversary of Green Arrow, and DC All Access has put together a cool 75 years, 75 Green Arrows video that shows the character year by year and all of the changes he has undergone.

The mask! The trick arrows! The facial hair! Green Arrow celebrates his 75th Anniversary this year and with a hit show on the air and a blockbuster new comic on the stands, he’s never been more popular. Join us as we look back at the Emerald Archer through the years, as conveyed by many of his greatest artists. As tributes go, this one’s on target!
