Real Robots React To Morgan Trailer

The Luke Scott-directed, Ridley Scott-produced film about artificial intelligence, Morgan is hitting theaters on September 2nd, and to promote they showed the trailer to two functioning robots and recorded the robots’ reactions.

The one on the left, magicLab’s EDI (Electronic Deceptive Intelligence), seems way too happy about this movie. It is way too vocal and expressive about the trailer. The one on the right is called FACE (Facial Automation for Conveying Emotions). It’s mostly bored except for a few things that seem to shock it.

I’m calling BS and saying they made EDI say all of that stuff, just because I know how marketing works. You can’t let a robot go rogue and say bad stuff about your movie. Still, it’s a fun and creepy video.
