If you’re looking for a cool lampshade to jazz up your lamp, look no further. This DIY TARDIS lampshade will look amazing in your room. Even if this is the only Doctor Who item in your room. This cool lampshade was made by Instructables user Kiteman and it looks amazing. He built it by first designing line art of the structure, then having them laser cut so he could attach them together into a 3-dimensional form.

Sadly, it won’t make noises as it cycles the light on and off, but you can’t exactly expect it to de-materialize and travel through time and space. It is perfect for either a kid’s room or a grown up’s room. If you want to try your hand at making one for yourself, you’ll need access to a laser cutter, and the instructions are posted here.
