This Rancor Cosplay Is Simply Awesome

by Conner Flynn

San Diego Comic-Con is always full of amazing cosplayers of all kinds, but this past weekend’s SDCC had one cosplay to rule them all. Jeremy Fisher, a Los Angeles-based animator spent around $2,000 to make a working and disgustingly realistic Rancor suit.

It took Fisher over a year to make this suit. It’s constructed primarily from polyfoam, has detachable limbs, and even a few USB-powered fans to keep him cool inside. This monster looks really scary and I bet someone dressed as Luke tried to put a bone in it’s mouth to stop it from attacking. This wins all of the cosplays for the entire year.
