Star Wars: Call of the Empire

by Conner Flynn

This Star Wars fan film imagines what it would be like if the Empire never gave up the fight after the battle of Endor. It is a short film titled Call of the Empire, by Trevor Kerr.

Let’s face it, this scenario is more likely than what really happened. The only reason J.J. Abrams and company had the Empire defeated was so they could have a new threat in the First Order and sell new toys. In my mind this is a much more exciting direction.

It’s a well done video both musically and stylistically. One can easily imagine these soldiers from the Imperial forces still fighting the Rebels for a variety of reasons. Some may be cut off from communication with the Imperial High Command, or some are just willing to fight for what they believe in, to the death. It is a cool video, and well worth a couple of minutes of your time.
