Star Trek: Enterprise Fan Film Took 8 Years to Make

by Conner Flynn

What have you been doing over the last 8 years? Probably working, playing video games, sleeping, etc. You know, all the usual things. Well, for the past 8 years, a German Star Trek fan named Jürgen Kaiser has been busy making this 58-minute stop-motion Star Trek: Enterprise fan film. It is called Der Anfang vom Ende (The Beginning of the End), and he says that it cost him “about as much as a midsize car” to make.

He also had 37 volunteers to help him make the film, which included professional voice actors, 3D artists, programmers, and more. It is a very well done film that is pretty entertaining. They did a fantastic job. I won’t spoil it. Just watch. It is worth an hour of your time. That’s a fair trade for 8 years of work, don’t you think?
