Sideshow Collectibles Voltron Maquette
June 19th, 2016The Defender of the Universe made a big comeback this year, thanks in no small part to Dreamworks’ new Voltron series. Sideshow Collectibles pounces on the opportunity by creating a premium Voltron statue. As always the toy company came up with its own take on the super robot. The imposing 27″ maquette has a noticeably slimmer silhouette.
It also looks like Sideshow’s designers took inspiration from vehicles, tools and heavy machinery. The statue also has a badass battle-worn finish, a detachable sword and the lights on both the Black Lion and the Voltron head light up.
