Star Wars Trench Run Birthday Cake

Stay on target! Stay on target! You’re all clear kid, now let’s dig into this thing and go home. Pew. Pew. Pew. I’m flying my fork down the trench, jabbing it into this cake and getting a huge bite! Man, this Star Wars trench run cake is both exciting and delicious. It was made by Greenpeas Bakery for a guy named Slade, who clearly had an awesome 40th birthday.
The cake is vanilla with caramelized bananas and there are even LED lights in the trench for the shooting lasers effect of the fight scene. Every panel of this trench was individually pressed and formed, using LEGO parts, and parts of a Millennium Falcon toy. The ships are Hot Wheels toys. Everything about this cake is brilliant. I love that exploding TIE Fighter!
