Happy Captain Picard Day!

by Conner Flynn

We here at MightyMega would like to wish you all a very happy Captain Picard day. You didn’t know that Captain Picard Day was a real thing? It is and you are in it! This celebratory day was first introduced in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Pegasus.” In the episode, it’s mentioned that the Stardate is 47457.1, which is equivalent to our June 16th. I’m glad that I was reminded of this special day.

Captain Picard Day is an event that takes place on the Enterprise where Picard shows school children what Starfleet is all about. I don’t know about you, but I used my crayons to draw the bridge crew. I hope he notices my drawing and hangs it in his ready room.
