Check EA’s New Star Wars Video Games in Development

by Conner Flynn

With the release of The Force Awakens, the Star Wars franchise is back in a big way. That includes plenty of new video games, and for E3 2016, EA has opened up about what’s coming to our galaxy from a galaxy far, far away. The video game publisher is working with a bunch of different developers to roll out new Star Wars games across a variety of platforms.

Motive and DICE are working on a new version of Star Wars: Battlefront for 2017; Visceral Games is creating an action-adventure title with an “original narrative set in the Star Wars universe with all-new characters;” Respawn Entertainment is working on a game with “a different style of gameplay that takes place in a different timeline that we have not seen before.”

Since we have to wait so long between movies, video games are how we will be getting most of our Star Wars for a while. And they are certainly making enough games to keep us busy.
