Star Trek VR Game Is Coming This Fall
June 13th, 2016

This is what Star Trek fans have been waiting for. It has always been a dream for many of us to play a game that involves captaining a starship as if you were really on the bridge. Well, we are finally going to get our wish. Ubisoft has teased Star Trek: Bridge Crew, the franchise’s first virtual reality game.
You can be the Captain, Engineer, Helm or on Tactical stations on an Enterprise-like starship named Aegis. The ship resettling what’s left of the Vulcan population. The planet got destroyed, if you remember. Basically, you have to coordinate with the rest of your crew to explore the galaxy and fight bad guys. And that’s all we’ve ever wanted in a Star Trek game if we’re honest. The bad news for some is that it is set in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek universe. Still, you get to helm a starship, so you can’t be too upset about that.
The game will arrive this fall and will support both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift on PCs and PlayStation VR.
