BB-8’s Sounds Replaced with Windows XP Sounds

by Conner Flynn

What if Star Wars droids made sounds like the ones in the Windows operating system instead of the beeps and boops we have come to know? YouTuber Brian Elder shows us. He created this fun video called BB-8 XP which replaces BB-8‘s excited sounds with the familiar alert sounds from Microsoft‘s Windows XP operating system.

Let’s just say that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is not nearly as dramatic of a movie with these sounds. Although I do like the Windows XP error message that pops up on the screen when Poe’s X-Wing is hit. You’ll be happy to know that Clippy, the office assistant, makes an appearance as well and plays a pivotal role in the film now.
