First Trailer for Voltron: Legendary Defender Netflix Series

I never thought I would see it happen, but Voltron is making a comeback in a big way. Netflix and DreamWorks animation are bringing the series back with Voltron: Legendary Defender. I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised by how good this series looks from the latest trailer. They seem to have nailed all of the important elements that made Voltron so awesome and kicked things up a notch while they were at it. This series looks like a lot of fun. Fans of The Walking Dead will be especially happy to know it stars Steven Yeun.

This trailer mostly covers the origin story part of the series, which is an hour-long episode called “The Rise of Voltron.” This will be followed by 12 more episodes, and will premiere on June 10th. I know I’ll be watching.
