Looks Like the Next X-Men Movie Will Take Place in The ’90’s

Looks Like the Next X-Men Movie Will Take Place in The ’90’szoom in

The X-Men movies jump around in time as you have probably noticed by now. 2011’s X-Men: First Class covered the 1960’s. X-Men: Days of Future Past was in the 1970’s, while X-Men: Apocalypse is set in the 1980’s. So what’s next? Well, if you follow the formula, you can probably guess when the next film will take place. According to producer Simon Kinberg: “The next one is set in the ’90s,”

Kinberg didn’t say if he meant the next “X-Men” film in the series, or Josh Boone’s New Mutants, which is also in development. Though we are pretty confident he is talking about the main X-Men team movie. X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27 so we do not have long to wait to go back to the ’80s, Marvel style.
