First Order Stormtroopers vs Lasers

There’s something very satisfying about watching things get destroyed. It’s especially satisfying when we are talking First Order action figures from The Force Awakens getting fried with lasers. WIRED tested this using one of the strongest commercial lasers against many of the bad guys from the latest Star Wars movie.

Watch the video and see just how tough Stormtrooper armor really is. Will it stand up to real laser blasts? Spoiler alert: These guys never stood a chance. The video is still fun to watch just because we all love to see stuff get tortured and destroyed.

It’s almost as if the Resistance had a new super weapon of their own and we get to watch them test it out.
