The Original Star Wars Trilogy Coming Back to Theaters
April 14th, 2016

I think we all saw this coming. The Alamo Drafthouse is bringing the original Star Wars trilogy back to the big screen this summer. We don’t have all of the details right now, but the trilogy will be available to watch as a triple feature in over 20 cities throughout August.
But before you get too excited, the movies will be presented in their 1997 re-release formats. You didn’t think that George Lucas would suddenly let someone project the real and much better original trilogy did you? It is still cause for excitement though. Now a whole new generation will have the chance to see Episodes IV, V and VI on the big screen.
Tickets will go on sale at ReturnoftheTrilogy.com on May 4th, naturally since that is Star Wars Day.
