First Trailer from Batman: The Killing Joke Animated Film

An animated feature-film adaptation of the iconic Batman: The Killing Joke comic is finally in the works and now we get to see how it is coming along. The first trailer recently popped up, which sets the dark tone for a very creepy story. As far as style, this looks a lot like previous DC Batman animation, but it still seems way creepier, which it should considering what goes down in this story.

From what we can see here, this looks like a faithful adaptation of the comic story, which means it will likely be hard to watch, given some of the shocking stuff that goes down in Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s original. Mark Hamill’s Joker is terrifying and creepy. More so than usual. Kevin Conroy’s is back as Batman of course.
