Amazing Wood Replicas of Science Fiction Ships

by Conner Flynn

Martin Creaney is a master woodworker. If you don’t believe me, just look at these science fiction ships that he created out of wood. Among his works, he made this huge and super detailed model of the Millennium Falcon out of 3,000 pieces of wood. In fact, he used more different types of wood than he can remember. The detail is just stunning.

There’s also a YF-19 Veritech fighter from Robotech, a beautiful X-Wing Fighter and more. The Robotech model even has articulated joints. This is a level of wood and geek art that is seldom seen. I hope he does some Star Trek ships too.

Honestly, Martin should be selling these pieces to museums so that future Earth inhabitants will know what our cool fantasy ships looked like.
