Captain America: Civil War (Trailer)

As hinted at in the ending of the Ant-Man movie, Falcon and Cap somehow get a hold of Bucky after the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. That appears to be one of the tipping points that will place Cap and Iron Man on opposite sides as revealed in the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War.

If you were expecting the movie to be a complete representation of a storyline that spanned dozens of comic books, you’ll most likely be disappointed. On one hand, it’s easy to understand why the movie will have a much smaller scale than its source material. There are just too many characters to introduce to the masses and even the original core story itself can’t possibly be told in one movie. On the other hand, I think this is a missed opportunity for Marvel to give their characters the time they deserve and make a Civil War TV miniseries. At the end of the day, the story goes where the money is, but that’s okay. We can always re-read the comics.
