Watch A Lego TIE Fighter Get Smashed by Asteroids

by Conner Flynn

There’s something oddly satisfying about watching a TIE Fighter get hit by asteroids. This comes from Wired’s ongoing investigative series, Is Smashing Lego in Slo-mo Still Awesome? Judging by this, I would say yes. Hell yes! It is still awesome. No question. In this installment we see a TIE Fighter model get hit by some of falling rocks that play the part of the asteroids.

Amazingly, the pilot seems to survive unscathed. Is this were in space, he would just be floating in vacuum, shocked out of his mind, but thanking whatever Gods Imperial troops pray to.

Nothing beats seeing ships destroyed in slow-mo. It’s a guilty pleasure.
