The Hunger Games: 1992 Style

by Paul Strauss

Imagine, if you will, that The Hunger Games franchise came out back in the early 1990s. You know, that VHS-quality, neon-tinged era of cheesy but entertaining sci-fi and action flicks. Fortunately, we don’t have to use our imaginations for long, thanks to the talents of video editor Louis “Sleepy Skunk” Plamondon, who put together a Hunger Games trailer for Vuture Remix, done up in 1992 style.

To make things even better, it was narrated by Don “In a World” LaFontaine, the best voiceover man in the history of movie trailers.┬áSee if you can figure out all of the movies he used footage from before checking out the YouTube page to see if you were right.

Kudos to Sleepy Skunk for putting this together.
