Ridley Scott Renames New Prequel Movie “Alien Covenant”

Looks like Ridley Scott is getting more and more serious about the next Alien movie as things move forward. 20th Century Fox is announcing that the new prequel movie, will be called Alien: Covenant. There’s really not any more information aside from that, but we do have that pretty title graphic shown here.

This movie will be the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with Prometheus. I personally can not wait. Unlike a lot of people, I really enjoyed Prometheus. These prequels will connect directly to the classic 1979 Alien movie when all is said and done. It should be a fun and scary ride.
