Latest Trailer for The X-Files : The Truth

Compared to previous trailers, the latest teaser trailer for The X-Files revival season puts the focus more directly on the alien mysteries that the show is all about. This trailer includes some fresh footage that we haven’t seen before, but just like the original series, it is keeping things vague enough that we don’t yet know what to expect. As far as I can tell, it looks like a great continuation of a great story.

There are hints about the government hiding alien technology as usual, and Mulder is asking the same old questions, like “Are we truly alone?”

We do know that this new six episode season will have some standalone cases, as well as focus on the major mythology from the show’s history. They have a lot of story possibilities. It will be interesting to see how this all turns out when the show returns in January 2016.
