Ghostbusters: The Sitcom

by Conner Flynn

Come on, you must have always wondered what Ghostbusters would be like as a sitcom. I know I can’t be the only one to think about it. Well, now we get to see what the classic film would have been like as a live-action TV show. This video from IFC does a good job of showing us what that would be like.

They’ve created a sitcom-style opening title sequence that hits all the right notes. This show follows “Five kooky friends and their wacky exploits battling ghosts, learning to love, and living in the city!” I would have watched the hell out of this, even if this was what we got instead of the movie. Thankfully we did get the movie and not a crappy sitcom. Just for the record, this sitcom would have been much much better than the new reboot is looking.
