Marvel’s Jessica Jones Gets Full Trailer

After a slew of teasers, Netflix finally shares a substantial glimpse at its newest Marvel show. The trailer hints at Jessica’s personality, her powers, friends and most of all her grim past, which apparently is tied to the villain Kilgrave, also known in the comics as Purple Man, who possesses the ability to verbally control people.

Netflix previewed the series to some media outlets. One of the lucky few was MTV, which heaped praises on what it saw, saying the show is faithful to its source material, filled with great characters and concerned with mature issues such as sexuality, relationships and surviving traumatic experiences. Marvel’s Jessica Jones premieres 11/20, and stars Krysten Ritter, David Tennant, Mike Colter, Rachael Taylor and Carrie-Anne Moss.
