Neill Blomkamp Shows off New Pulse Rifle for Alien Sequel

by Conner Flynn

We all knew there would be pulse rifles. Obviously. Now with added RIS

While we don’t know when we’ll get to see it, Neill Blomkamp is actually busy working on his new Alien sequel. Here’s proof. He is showing off some awesome new xenomorph killing equipment.

The director recently hit Instagram to show off a new version of the classic pulse rifle. This time around it has a Rail Interface System (RIS). This lets the user attach different accessories. Like a laser sight, flashlight and other useful stuff. It looks like a good update to the classic weapon.

This sequel recently got pushed back a bit when Ridley Scott got more serious about his Prometheus sequel called Alien: Paradise Lost. Blomkamp’s film will likely arrive about 1-2 years after that movie launches. I’m just happy to know that Blomkamp is already working on his film too.
