Whatever handmade costume you may have made out of cardboard for this Halloween, I’m sorry to tell you, that’s not a Hulkbuster costume. THIS is a Hulkbuster costume! Thomas DePetrillo of Extreme Costumes created this outstanding version that stands nine feet-tall and shoots actual lasers from its eyes. DePetrillo was obviously worried about encountering the Hulk. Now, not so much. He feels much safer.
It took over 1,600 hours of work to complete. You try making some Iron Man armor that is light enough to wear and move around in. The end result is just amazing and looks authentic. We can thank photographer Ian Barnard for these images of the process and final images of the suit.
If Thomas ever does meet his cosplay nemesis, Hulk will have a very bad day.
