Make The 10th Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver

by Conner Flynn

On the latest episode of DIY Prop Shop by AWE Me, they show you how to make your very own version of the 10th Doctor’s sonic screwdriver. Host Dustin McLean shows you how to make this incredibly real-looking Sonic Screwdriver so you can open doors and reprogram computers just like the Doctor. Okay, maybe it won’t actually do all of the cool things that his does, but it will look authentic and super cool.

He uses an LED flashlight, a pen, PVC pipe, a marker and a few other items to create a pretty believable replica of this signature accessory. It’s not too difficult of a project if you’re handy with a drill and a hack saw.
