Mad Max: Roadkill BBQ

by Lambert Varias

WB Games commissioned VFX and action specialists Corridor Digital to promote its upcoming Mad Max game. The result is this extremely gory short film. Set in Mad Max‘s bleak and hot future, Mad Max: Roadkill BBQ sees two dudes barter for precious fuel with meat. Human meat. Stay for the cars, nearly leave for the dismembering, then end up staying for the cars.

The making-of video below is also worth watching. WB Games lent Corridor Digital a functioning replica of the Magnum Opus, the car that Max drives in the game. Unfortunately things went south with the car so they had to improvise.
