Half-Batman and Half-Joker Play Footsies

Well here’s a weird statue. I guess this means that Batman and the Joker are friends… very good friends since they are playing footsie with each other. This sculpture is titled “My Better Half” and it is made from sand. I couldn’t believe it was a sand sculpture when I saw the height. This artist knows how to work with sand. Just look at the texturing and detail.
It was created by Marielle Hessels of the Netherlands and David Ducharme of Winlaw, B.C. It won them first place in the doubles division at Parksville’s annual Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition. Weird, but very cool.
