Stormtrooper Walks 645 Miles to SDCC

by Conner Flynn

Here is a Star Wars related story that is sure to touch your heart. It’s sad, but it’s sweet. It is amazing what people will do in order to attend Comic-Con. Some people have even quit their jobs so that they could attend. Well, Kevin Doyle made the 645-mile walk from Petaluma, California to San Diego Comic-Con while dressed as a Stormtrooper. He made the trek┬áin memory of his late wife, who was a super Star Wars fanatic who passed away from cancer in November, 2012.

Kevin has also founded a charity in her honor called Eileen’s Little Angels Foundation. He’s using this long walk to the Con to show love for his wife and to raise some money for a good cause. Life can throw some terrible things at you, but it is how you handle it that shows what kind of human you are.
