FTC Mego Batcave & Aquaman Playsets

Announced last April, Figures Toy Company’s reproductions of two classic Mego playsets are now up for pre-order. Like the original, the 3ft. replica Batcave playset has a battery-operated Bat Signal, Batpole, Batcomputer, and Bat Secret Entrance. It’s compatible with FTC’s retro 8″ action figures (sold separately).
Then there’s the reproduction of the Aquaman vs. The Great White Shark playset, whose value is inversely proportional to its appearance. This eBay auction is humanity in a nutshell. So it’s only fitting that I find myself liking the box more than the figures.
