New Mad Max Game Trailer

by Conner Flynn

Fans of Mad Max can get back into the wasteland this fall in a new video game. Here’s a new trailer for the Mad Max game that dropped at this week’s E3 convention. It is called “Eye of the Storm,” and features the wonderfully named Scabrous Scrotus, who is the third son of Immortan Joe from Mad Max: Fury Road.

Here is a synopsis:

Max’s journey to the Plains of Silence takes an unexpected turn when a group of marauders run him off the road and steal his car. Max must traverse the barren desert Wasteland in search for his lost treasured vehicle, the Pursuit Special (also referred to as The Interceptor). In his journey to recover his prized Interceptor, he meets a deformed mechanic named Chumbucket.

I’m cautiously optimistic. We all know that most video games based on movies suck, but I can’t help getting excited at how amazing this game looks. This trailer is stunning and made all the better by being set to AC/DC’s Hell’s Bells. If this game sucks I’m going to be really pissed off. It’s arriving on September¬†1st, so we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
