High Heels for the Superhero Set

If you have a wife or girlfriend who is into both style and comic book superheroes, then I just may have found a gift you can give her that will knock her socks off.

Appropriately named Etsy artist TheRealHellOnHeels has custom designed some rad pumps that are covered with the dramatic images of a host of different comic book icons. My favorites are the She Hulk Comic Shoes – both because they ooze girl power glamour and because She Hulk just don’t get enough respect. (The artist uses this quote from the green goddess on her website: “You know what they say. The female is the deadlier of the species.”)

The shoes cost $135(USD) and take about three weeks to complete because they are handmade. But if She Hulk shoes don’t do it for you, there are also other varieties, including Batman, Green Lantern and Spider-Man. There’s even a Wonder Woman version that comes with a companion clutch purse for $160. Other characters are also available on request, which is exactly what one women did to give her betrothed a massive thrill.
